RAMY is a 10-episode half-hour comedy series written, executive produced, created by and starring Ramy Youssef, and executive produced by Jerrod Carmichael, A24’s Ravi Nandan, showrunner Bridget Bedard and co-creators Ari Katcher and Ryan Welch.

SYNOPSIS: CLIMAX is Gaspar Noé's latest film and his most brazen and visionary statement yet. It's a totally trippy, hypnotic, hallucinatory, and ultimately hair-raising depiction of a party that descends into delirium over the course of one wintry night.

In Climax, a troupe of young dancers gathers in a remote and empty school building to rehearse. The troupe begins an all-night celebration that turns nightmarish as the dancers discover they've been pounding cups of sangria laced with potent LSD. The film stars Sofia Boutella (Atomic Blonde) and a cast of professional dancers.

Howard Shore, Oscar-winning composer of films such as THE LORD OF THE RINGS TRILOGY, THE SILENCE OF THE LAMBS, and SPOTLIGHT is coming to UCLA on April 4th and 5th for TWO nights of exciting events! 

On WEDNESDAY, APRIL 4TH at 5PM in SCHOENBERG HALL, Mr. Shore will be conducting a masterclass in which he reflects on his creative process and over 40 years of experience in the film industry. The masterclass will be moderated by Dr. Holley Replogle-Wong, professor at the School of Music. Following the masterclass, a select group of students will participate in a Meet and Greet with Mr. Shore.

Free tickets for the MASTERCLASS will be available through the Central Ticketing Office soon. Stay tuned!

Winner of Best Screenplay and Best Actor (Joaquin Phoenix) at the 2017 Cannes Film Festival, the film has garnered immense critical acclaim and even a 7-minute standing ovation at Cannes. The Third Annual BFS Awards is where we will be celebrating the very best of cinema that 2017 had to offer. Your host, the indomitable Kevin Yang, will be delivering a monologue for the ages. The Oscars and the Golden Globes are all fine and good, but let's face it...they don't get everything right. We do.

The BFS Awards will be taking place on March 9th at 7PM in the Northwest Campus Auditorium. Attendance is free. Even if you aren't a regular member of BFS, you are just as welcome as anyone. More celebrities will likely show up to this than the Oscars because they love us. Food will be provided.
